The Neuse River is on the rise.  The latest forecast from the National Weather Service shows the Neuse River near Goldsboro rising toward flood stage throughout the week.  Rain is expected or at least likely through Saturday with two inches of additional rainfall possible across the region through Tuesday evening.  While the river is rising locally, no Flood Warning has been issued at this time.
