Cody Dwayne Boyette, 27, resident of the Seven Springs area, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 20, 2020.

His family will have visitation at Tyndall Funeral Home from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 24. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 25 in the funeral home chapel officiated by Pastor Chad Smith. Burial will follow in the Boyette-Summerlin Estate at the residence. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are asked to be made to an entity to be named for the benefit of cancer victims (please give any donations to the family for this purpose).

Cody graduated from Spring Creek High School and he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Mount Olive. His employment was with his family’s business, SummCo Complete Clean.

Cody is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Waters Boyette, and their 21 month-old son, Eli Wayne Boyette, both of the home; his parents, Tammy and Scott Summerlin of Seven Springs; his father, Jasper Boyette and wife, Twila, of Spivey’s Corner; a brother, Chase Summerlin of Seven Springs; two sisters, Chelsie Tobes and husband, Moises, of Pink Hill, and Beverly McDonald of Raleigh; father-in-law, Cory Waters and future wife, Sara Kristof; mother-in-law, Vicki Kelley; grandparents, Tony and Faye Hall, Zack Brickhouse, and Ralph Waters; brother-in-law, Jonathan Waters and wife, Chelcie; sister-in-law, Cassy Harris and husband, Jamal; several nieces and nephews to include Kelcie, Jaedon, Meica, Marlee, Annabelle, and Judah.
