A suspect is arrested for an April break-in at a Goldsboro sporting goods store. The Goldsboro Police Department responded an alarm at the Dunham’s Sports on N. Berkeley Boulevard in the early morning hours of April 28th. Officers found the business had been broken into and a suspect had attempted to remove several items from the store. The ensuing investigation by the GPD and the ATF Task Force led to a warrant being secured on 31-year-old Gregory D. Caruth of Goldsboro for charges of Breaking and Entering and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. Caruth was arrested Friday afternoon in Goldsboro. He was placed into the custody of the Wayne County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond. The Goldsboro P.D. says the investigation into this case continues.
