On July 10^th, Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies were patrolling the area of Highway 13 North and Hood Swamp Road when they pulled a vehicle over for an equipment violation.  An investigation reportedly discovered suspected meth, suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.  The driver of the vehicle, 31-year-old Tony R. Hunt of Fremont, also had an Order for Arrest out of Lenoir County for a traffic violation.  Hunt was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  His bond was set at $4,000 secured.
