Charles Anthony “Bam Bam”  Bowen, age 46, died Tuesday at Wayne/UNC Health Care.  Born in Brunswick County, Ga., he was the son of Sheldon and Dell Beard Franklin.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 2:00 pm at The Bridge Church, 188 Whitley Church Road, Princeton, NC.  A visitation for family and friends will be held immediately following the service at the church.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his wife, Deana Hiatt Wells; his daughters, Deanna Bowen and Savannah Bowen;  two sisters, April Strickland and Sarah Franklin.
