Mary Alice Mozingo Capps, 74, died Saturday, August 1, 2020 at UNC Wayne Health Care. She was born April 11, 1946 in Johnston County to the late Alvin and Annie Best Mozingo. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Ray Mozingo and Herman Mozingo; and sister, Shirley Kearney.

Mary was a member of Antioch Church. She retired from Wayne Memorial Hospital with 38 years of service. Mary enjoyed all occasions with family members.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM
in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 3888 Hwy 70 West, Goldsboro, NC with Pastor Kelley Buffaloe officiating.

Mary is survived by her husband, Leamon Capps; daughter, Valerie Capps Dobbins and husband, Drew Dobbins of Goldsboro; brothers, Fred Mozingo of Selma, and Donnie Mozingo of Sunset Beach, NC; sisters, Hazel Pearce of Goldsboro, and Carolyn Davis of Smithfield; and two grandchildren, Nolan Miller and Hannah Miller.
