Task Force Makes Meth Arrests After Spotting Wanted Suspect

On Friday, July 31, members of the Goldsboro/Wayne County Drug Task Force were conducting surveillance when they reportedly observed 37-year-old Christopher T. Strickland Dudley leaving from a local motel. Members of the task force were familiar with Strickland and knew that he had several outstanding felony arrest warrants. The officers arrested Strickland when he stopped at a gas station at the intersection of Spence Avenue and Royal Avenue. During the arrest, Strickland was allegedly found to be in possession of suspected meth, suspected suboxone and a concealed firearm. During the investigation, 33-year-old Juliana A. Surratt of Pikeville was found to have suspected meth and heroin on her person. Both individuals were arrested and left in the custody of the Wayne County Jail.
