A suspect faces nearly 20 charges for a string of Kinston shed break-ins. The Kinston Police Department says there has been an increase in shed or outdoor storage building breaking and enterings over the past few months. On Friday, officers identified 26-year-old Javion R. Murriel of Kinston as a suspect in some of these incidents. Murriel has been charged with 19 counts of Felony Breaking and/or Entering.
In addition to Murriel’s arrest, 22-year-old Shakira S. Turnage of Kinston was charged with two counts of Felony Obtaining Property by False Pretense for her involvement.
