Special needs individuals in Wayne County will have a Night to Shine!
Once again, First Baptist Church of Goldsboro has been granted an opportunity to host a Night to Shine Prom, providing an unforgettable evening for persons with special needs ages 14-and-up.
However, the February event will go online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Donna Countryman from First Baptist Church is the Night to Shine Chairperson.
She says they’re encouraging attendees to register now.
Right now, they’re accepting registrations from Wayne County residents, although they will open registration up to neighboring areas depending on the number of persons that sign up.
Countryman says volunteers will be welcome and needed, especially for the gift baskets that will be made for all attendees.
The Night to Shine is an initiative of the Tim Tebow Foundation.
The Night to Shine Prom is being held February 12th.
Visit FBCGoldsboro.org to register an attendee for the Night to Shine prom, or to volunteer or make a donation to the event.
