Wayne Country Day traveled to Raleigh on Saturday and outplayed second-seeded Trinty Academy from start to finish.

The Chargers toppled Trinity Academy 2-1 in the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association quarterfinals. Andrew Sherman and Michael Geer scored the Chargers’ goals, while Anthony Valentine logged an assist.

Wayne Country Day (7-1 overall) advances to face top-seeded Westchester Country Day School (11-3) in the NCISAA semifinals on Tuesday.
