The Make A Difference Food Pantry is staying busy with just over one week to go until Christmas.

Kenzie Hinson is the owner and operator of the Make A Difference Food Pantry in Mount Olive.

She appeared on Jeff Farrow’s Morning Show on Goldsboro’s Greatest Hits 1150 and 98.3.

Hinson says a free drive thru COVID-19 testing session will be held at the pantry today, Wednesday, December 16, from 12:00 – 2:30 PM.

Hinson says the pantry currently has a donor matching dollar for dollar, or giving $2 for every can or $3 for every dry item donated.

The Make A Difference Food Pantry holds its drive thru Christmas Sprit event from 5:30 – 7:30 PM this Friday.

Already this month, the Make A Difference Food Pantry has served over 55,000 people and distributed over 119,000 pounds of food.

Hinson is also looking for support on the food pantry’s Facebook page as her operation is facing having to find a new location in the midst of the pandemic.

The Make A Difference Food Pantry is located at 922 N. Breazeale Avenue in Mount Olive.
