(NWS-Raleigh)–The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a Flood Warning for the Neuse River in Goldsboro until Friday Morning. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 18.7 feet early Wednesday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday afternoon. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads.
