Noisy and dangerous celebrations marked the start of 2021 in Goldsboro.  According to the reports from the Goldsboro Police Department, there were 15 reports of discharging a weapon within the city during the New Year’s timeframe.  The reports of gunfire started Thursday, New Year’s Eve, and continued into Friday, New Year’s Day.  There was no immediate information on injuries from the gunshots.
