Potential candidates for a city council vacancy have until the end of the workweek to apply.

The District 1 vacancy on the Goldsboro City Council was created when Antonio Williams stepped down from the position in December after he was elected to the Wayne County Board of Commissioners.

District 1 residents interested in serving on the council have until 5 PM this Friday, January 15, to submit an application.
