Linda Fancy Crosswhite Graybeal, 70, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at her home. Born in Madison County, Kentucky on March 18, 1950, she was the daughter of LaVerne Odum Crosswhite Dempsey and the late Samuel Franklin Crosswhite. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Captain John O’dell Graybeal, USAF, Ret.; and their son, Jared O’dell Graybeal.

Linda was a dedicated and faithful member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church in Goldsboro. She loved her church family. Linda was an avid bird-watcher and took great pleasure in a good book.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in the narthex of Madison Avenue Baptist Church followed by a service to celebrate Linda’s life in the sanctuary at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Princeton.

Linda leaves to cherish her memory, her son, J. David Graybeal (Michelle) and her twin granddaughters, Kamryn and Sydney of Wilson, NC. She is also survived by brother, Larry Crosswhite (Rita) and several nieces and nephews.
