Betty Gregory Rigsbee, age 76, passed away Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. Born in Wayne County, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Nathan and Laura Mae Casey Gregory. She was the wife of the late Lunsford Rigsbee.

A Graveside service will be held Friday, February 19, 2021 at 11:00 am in Wayne Memorial Park with Mrs. Sandy Harris officiating. The family will visit with family and friends at the grave. Masks will be required at the service.

Betty is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, William Gregory (Charlotte), John Allen Gregory (Rose), Paul Gregory and Terry Gregory (Joyce); sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy Daniels (Roy), Hilda Hodnett (Carl), Patsy Hanegan, Marie Herring and Janice Sessoms; friend, Hurbert Bean.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Nathan Gregory, Charles Gregory, Maurice Gregory; sisters, Frances Coker, Jane Gregory and Lillian Gregory.
