On Monday, members of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team pulled a vehicle over on Highway 117 Alt. for a motor vehicle violation. During the traffic stop, deputies reportedly found 27-year-old Baily M. Young of Kenly was in possession of narcotics. Young also allegedly gave the deputies a false name in an attempt to avoid being served on outstanding warrants. She was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Fictitious Info to Law Enforcement. Young was given a $5,500 unsecured bond and she was turned over to Wayne County Detention staff for processing.
