Mrs. Dorothy “Aunt Dot” Robinson. It is with very heavy hearts that we the management and staff of J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, along with our Chief Funeral Director, Mr. Vonnell Robinson, announce the passing of our beloved Mrs. Dorothy “Aunt Dot” Robinson, 84, who transitioned from labor to reward on Sunday, April 25, 2021 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.
The celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 1:00pm at the Goldsboro-Raleigh District Assembly (GRDA), 211 West Hooks River Road, Goldsboro, NC with Bishop Alton A. Smith officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC. There will be a visitation held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
Aunt Dot as she was affectionately called, was born on May 7, 1936 in Gadsden, South Carolina to Frank C. McMillian and Mary Jean Minder McMillian. She was reared in Goldsboro, North Carolina by Alphonso “Al” Pennington and Mary Sasser Pennington. She is survived by her loving husband, Vonnell Robinson of the home.
