The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has released a few new details in this weekend’s drowning death at Busco Beach.  Just before 7 PM on Sunday, a water rescue team was dispatched to Busco Beach in Goldsboro in response to a missing swimmer.  The 46-year-old male had entered the water, went under, and did not resurface.  First responders arrived at the scene and located the body after a brief search.  The individual was pronounced dead at the scene.  The sheriff’s office says the name of the victim is not being released at this time pending family notification.
