The Friends of the Wayne County Public Library are happy to announce that the annual book sale will be held this Thursday, May 20th through Sunday, May 23rd! In order to keep patrons and Friends of the Library safe, this book sale will be a little different in comparison to past book sales.
The book sale will feature both indoor and outdoor tables, and one-way traffic through the Goldsboro Library’s Weil auditorium. Friends and patrons will enter through the Ash St. entrance, and will exit in the parking lot. Due to space limitations, the Friends of the Library are unable to offer a preview sale this year.
Books sold in the annual sale are donated to the Friends by private citizens. Proceeds from this sale, along with money raised through annual memberships, support library programs, author visits, and furniture and equipment purchases for the library.
The schedule for the book sale is as follows:
- Thursday, May 20 from 10 AM – 7 PM
- Friday, May 21 from 10 AM – 5 PM
- Saturday, May 22 from 10 AM – 5 PM
- Sunday, May 23 from 1 – 5 PM
