Herbert Woodrow Hartley, 83, of Goldsboro, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021 at UNC Wayne Memorial Hospital. Mr. Hartley was born January 31, 1938 in Johnston County to the late Woodrow Wilson and Irene Massengill Hartley. He is the widower of Sylvia Jean Hill Hartley. Mr. Hartley is also preceded in death by a brother, Needham Hartley.

Mr. Hartley owned and operated Rosewood Plumbing Company which he established in 1978.

The Funeral Service will be conducted 6:00 pm Tuesday, June 1, 2021, in the Chapel of Casey Funeral Home & Cremations with Reverend Bill Cotton officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm prior to the funeral service at Casey Funeral Home & Cremations in Princeton.

Mr. Hartley is survived by; sons, Randy Hartley and wife Beverly, Andy Hartley and wife Paige both of Goldsboro, and Eddie Hartley and friend Kristen Feld of Clayton; daughter, Diane Hartley of Goldsboro; sisters, Geneva Turner and Peggy Howell; grandsons, Wayne, Jason, Cody, Jeremy, Ryan, Adam, Zach, Jackson and Hudson; granddaughter, Emersyn; great grandson, Little Cody; great granddaughters, Annabelle, Gracie, Emma, Stella, Ava, Matilda and Imogen.

Although flowers are welcome, the family suggests memorials be made to Rosewood First Baptist Church, 562 NC 581 S. Goldsboro, NC 27530.
