The Goldsboro Police Department believes it has identified the deceased person that was found on Bright Street last week.
The GPD on Wednesday said the person found dead on the 300 block of Bright Street on May 24th is believed to be 38-year-old Heather Diane Stewart of Goldsboro. Positive identification is still needed from the State Medical Examiner’s Office and North Carolina State Crime Laboratory.
29-year-old Willie Lee Langston Jr. of La Grange was arrested last week and charged with Murder in this case.
The GPD says it continues to receive leads in this ongoing death investigation. Charges against additional suspects are still possible.
