Investigators with the Criminal Investigations Division have received positive confirmation from the State Crime Laboratory that the human remains found on May 24 on the 300 block of Bright Street belong to 38-year-old Heather Diane Stewart of Goldsboro. 

Two suspects have already been arrested in this case.  29-year-old Willie Lee Langston, Jr. of La Grange was arrested on May 28.  31-year-old Tamarcus Shaquan Ellis of Goldsboro was apprehended this Friday in Baltimore County, Maryland and is awaiting extradition back to North Carolina.  Both Langston and Ellis are charged with Murder in Stewart’s death.

The Goldsboro Police Department says this investigation is continuing and charges against additional suspects are possible.
