A leading grocery chain is preparing to open a Goldsboro location.
ALDI plans to open its newest store at 1203 N. Berkeley Boulevard (the former Bed, Bath & Beyond location) at 8 AM on Thursday, June 17th. The store will be open daily from 8 AM – 9 PM. The new ALDI will also be offering curbside grocery pickup starting July 1st.
In its press release, ALDI says the new Goldsboro location is part of the company’s national expansion plan to become the third-largest U.S. grocery retailer by store count by the end of 2022.
“We are proud of our continued expansion,” said Jeff Bianchetta, Petersburg division vice president for ALDI. “Opening new stores allows us to provide even more shoppers convenient access to fresh, high-quality groceries at unbeatable prices. We look forward to serving the Goldsboro community at our newest location for many years to come.”
