July 21, 2021, 76, Pikeville –

David Arnold Burnham, 76, of Pikeville passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the home of his daughter.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Pikeville Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service.

Mr. Burnham was born in Johnston County on September 29, 1944 to the late David A. and Velma Anderson Burnham.

He is survived by his son, Brandon Burnham and wife, Mendi of Pikeville and one daughter, Brandi Burnham of Pikeville; one granddaughter, Tara Anne Burnham; his special friend, Sandra Bass and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Forehand Burnham; three brothers, Jimmy Burnham, William Burnham and West Burnham; two sisters, Margie Godfrey and Barbara Ann Burnham.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
