On Friday, members of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team conducted a traffic stop on Highway 581 N for a motor vehicle violation.  The vehicle was searched and illegal narcotics were reportedly found.  31-year-old Jesse J. Barnett of Goldsboro was arrested and charged with Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Barnett was given a $1,000 secured bond, and he was turned over to the Wayne County Jail for processing.
