Around 9:40 PM on Saturday, Goldsboro Police responded to a shooting that occurred on the 1000 block of N. Spence Avenue. A victim was located suffering from a gunshot wound. 19-year-old Elana Corbett was transported to Wayne UNC Health, and then later flown to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. The GOD says Corbett was last known to be in stable condition. The Goldsboro Police Department Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene.
