Spring Creek opened Neuse Six 2A Conference play against North Johnston on Tuesday afternoon.
North Johnston (4-4, 0-1) swept the Gators 3-0. The loss drops Spring Creek to 1-8 overall and 0-1 in conference play.
The Gators will look to bounce back against Eastern Wayne (2-5, 0-1) on Thursday.
