Southern Wayne snapped its six-game skid with a 3-0 win against Hunt in Quad County 3A Conference action on Wednesday evening.
The Saints got off to a hot start when Abram Sanches scored the Saints’ first goal in the sixth minute.
11 minutes later, Damas Jean tacked on another goal and the Saints took a 2-0 lead into halftime.
Southern Wayne continued its strong play in the second half, and in the 47th minute, Edgar Castaneda fired off a long-distance shot that found its way into the back of the net.
The Saints (7-6 overall, 3-6 QCC) travels to South Johnston (2-12-1, 1-8) on Monday.
