Pikeville is gearing up for a spooky good Saturday.
The Greater Pikeville Improvement Committee hosts its first ever Haunts and Harvests event this Saturday, October 30 in Dee’s Memorial Park.
Lt. Rodney Jarman with the Pikeville Police Department is the Chair of the G.P.I.C.
He says they’ve had good attendance at this month’s Pics in the Park movie events leading up to Saturday’s grand finale.
Jarman says there will be about 12 hours of Halloween fun in Pikeville on Saturday, and they’re glad to host the event.
Saturday’s event will feature a Fall Festival starting at 11 AM.
A Haunted Hayride presented by the Pikeville-Pleasant Grove Fire Department will start running at 6 PM.
The Trunk or Treat in the park runs from 6 – 8 PM and the movie double feature (“The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown” and “Hocus Pocus”) starts at 8:15 PM on Saturday.
COVID-19 guidelines set by NCDHHS and Wayne County will be followed.
