North Duplin ended the regular season with a 50-22 loss against Hobbton on Friday evening.
The score was tied 14-14 at halftime, but Hobbton outscored the Rebels 36-12 in the second half to get the win.
During halftime, Jenna Grady, who was escorted by her brother Evan Brock, was named homecoming queen.
The Rebels end the regular season with a 3-6 overall record and qualified the N.C. High School Athletic Association 1A playoffs. North Duplin will travel to Gates County on Nov. 5.
