Police need help identifying the suspects responsible for assaulting a Walmart employee. The Mount Olive Police Department is looking for public assistance in solving October 25th attack. According to the Facebook post by the Mount Olive P.D., three subjects – a male and two females – entered the Walmart and tried to return merchandise. A female cashier was unable to provide the return for the subjects. The male suspect became irate, waited for the cashier to walk away, and then ran behind the victim and struck her in the back of the head with a closed fist. The cashier was seriously injured in the assault. Anyone with information on the case or suspects is asked to contact Det. Sgt. Gregory with the Mount Olive Police Department.
