Due to the threat of winter weather tomorrow, Wayne County Government offices will be closed Friday, January 21, 2022 and Saturday, January 22, 2022. This includes all branches of the Wayne County Public Library, Wayne County Landfill and convenience centers, Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center, and the COVID-19 vaccination clinic. All branches of the library will be closing this evening at 5:30 p.m. All Wayne County offices will resume normal schedules on Monday.

Black ice and snow accumulations are expected from this storm, and travel should be kept to a minimum. We encourage residents to shelter in place during this storm event and only utilize 911 for emergencies.
