(GDN) — Just before 7 PM on Thursday, the Wayne County 911 Center received a call reporting a female suffering from a gunshot wound. The female was inside her residence on the 1600 block of Pineview Cemetery Road in Seven Springs when someone fired a gun into the residence from outside. Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies and Wayne County EMS responded to the scene, The 30-year-old victim was transported to Wayne UNC Health Care and is expected to make a full recovery. Detectives were called out and began interviewing witnesses and processing the scene. The detectives are trying to determine if the shooting was intentional or accidental.
