Bree Jones led the way with 14 points as C.B. Aycock defeated conference foe Smithfield-Selma 52-34 on Tuesday night.
Destiny Mason scored 12 points, while Laci Best added seven points. The Golden Falcons played well defensively as the Spartans struggled to break C.B. Aycock’s full-court press.
The Golden Falcons improved to 7-12 overall and 2-8 in Quad County 3A Conference.
C.B. Aycock is back in action on Thursday night when the Golden Falcons travel to Hunt (10-7, 6-4).
