The Wayne County Board of Education proclaimed April as Community College Month in a show of appreciation for the impact Wayne Community College has on students, the school district and the community.

Wayne Community College president, Dr. Patricia Pfeiffer, thanked the Board for its support and efforts to help students.

Officials say they encourage all school personnel and Wayne County residents to observe this month by learning about Wayne Community College’s value to students, the economy and the community.
