(GDN) – A female driver was pinned inside of her car after a crash on Saturday night on Wayne Memorial Drive near True Vine Road. Firefighters from Saulston, Patetown, New Hope and Wayne County EMS were dispatched to the scene of the single-vehicle accident.
Police say the driver lost control, ran off the road into a ditch and slammed into a tree. The woman had to be extracted by first responders. Authorities say the driver was airlifted to a local hospital.
