(GDN)–Firefighters from Indian Springs, Seven Springs and Pricetown were dispatched around 10 p.m. Friday night to the scene of a working single-wide mobile home fire on Indian Springs Road near the intersection of Indian Springs Road and Arrington Bridge Road. Wayne County EMS Station 1 was also dispatched to the scene.

As fire and EMS arrived on the scene they quickly entered the structure to make sure that no one was inside of the mobile home, and that everyone managed to exit the home.

Using an attack line, firefighters managed to quickly get control of the fire and its contents.

The Fireground Operation Chief requested the power company to respond to the scene to kill the power going to the structure and also requested for a member of OES to respond as well.

The single wide mobile home was heavily damaged by the fire. Cause of the fire is under an investigation by fire officials. Firefighters remained on the scene for several hours.
