On June 18, 2022, at 12:47 a.m., Goldsboro Police Department “D” shift officers responded to a shooting that occurred in the 700 block of N. George Street.

Two victims, a 42-year-old female and a 34-year-old male, were found suffering from gunshot wounds and were transported to Wayne UNC Health Care by EMS. The female victim was located on the front porch of 705 N George Street. The male’s location at the time of the shooting was unknown. 

The Goldsboro Police Department Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene. 

The 34-year-old victim was identified as Gregory McDuffie and was treated at Wayne UNC Health Care then later discharged. The 42-year-old victim was identified as Felicia Davis and was transferred to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Her last known condition was critical.

The investigation is ongoing.
