1st Degree Burglary, Attempted Murder

On June 30, 2022, at 2:53 a.m., Goldsboro Police responded to reports of a shooting at 812 N. Herman Street. Upon arrival, officers with the Goldsboro Police Department’s Patrol “A” Shift located a 33-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was identified as Emmanuel Dillon Perrin, of Central Heights Road.

There were five other occupants of the house, including a 4-year-old juvenile, all of whom were present during commission of the crimes.

It was determined that multiple unidentified subjects had forced entry to the residence in what appeared to have been a robbery, during which Mr. Perrin was shot.

Mr. Perrin was transported to Wayne UNC Health Care, where he was then transported to ECU Health Medical Center (Vidant) in Greenville for further evaluation and treatment.

Investigators and crime scene specialists from the Goldsboro Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division responded to initiate the investigation into this matter.
