Representative Raymond Smith announced today that the Golden LEAF Board of Directors voted to award funds for the following projects in the amount of $199,706.78 to the University of Mount Olive for simulation equipment to support the development of a BSN program that will train 100 RNs each year for positions within Wayne and surrounding counties.
According to a letter Smith received, “Golden LEAF is pleased to be a part of this important work to improve resilience and increase economic opportunities for communities in North Carolina.”
