Goldsboro Police officers responded to a shooting that occurred in the 500 block of Hinson Street Wednesday evening.

The victim, 19 year old Jalil McDuffie was located in the 1000 block of N William Street suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was taken to Wayne UNC Health Care and then transported to ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville.

The Goldsboro Police Department Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene. The victim’s last known condition was critical.
