Sunday morning, officers with the Goldsboro Police Department responded to Wayne UNC Health Care for a report of a sexual assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a 15-year-old juvenile female who stated she had been sexually assaulted by a known male subject in the 900 block of N. Carolina St.

The person identified by the victim is a 16-year-old juvenile. The Goldsboro Police Department’s Investigative Services Bureau responded to Wayne UNC Health Care and the 900 block of N. Carolina St. to initiate an investigation into the allegation. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
