Early Saturday morning, officers assigned to the Goldsboro Police Department’s Uniformed Patrol “C” Shift responded to reports of shots fired at Heroes Sports, Oyster Bar and Grill, 3009 E. Ash St, Goldsboro, NC 27530. After arriving on scene, officers located one victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to UNC Health Wayne by EMS. Two additional victims arrived at UNC Health Wayne by personal vehicle.
Kewon R’Kell Swinson, 27 has been transferred to ECU Medical Center in Greenville. Airic Keith Murray, 25 and Quentin Deron Carlton, 24 were treated and released from UNC Health Wayne.
The investigation is ongoing.
