On July 31, 2022, Wayne County Sheriff’s Office received a report regarding a sexual offense occurring within Wayne County that stemmed from contact on a social media application. Wayne County Detectives began an investigation and as a result, David Earl James, 42 of Dudley was arrested and charged with Solicit a Child by Computer / Indecent Liberties with a Child. James was placed in the Wayne County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
