In Monday’s Wayne County Board of Education meeting outgoing District 4 representative was honored. Leading into the Board Spotlight period, Billy Strickland, husband of Board Member, Jennifer Strickland, was given the opportunity to recognize his wife’s service to the Board, the school district and the community.

Following his comments, Chair West presented her with a plaque to recognize her service to District 4. Mrs. Strickland has served two terms as the District 4 representative, beginning December 1, 2014. She is not seeking re-election and her current term will expire November 30, 2022.
