On December 9th, 2022, Deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop for a Chapter 20 Violation. After the stop was made, the driver advised of drug paraphernalia being inside the vehicle.

A probable cause search was conducted, and controlled substances and drug paraphernalia were located inside the vehicle. After Steven Michael Adams, 44 of Seven Springs was arrested. After the arrest Adams attempted to discard controlled substances inside a patrol vehicle. The additional controlled substances were recovered, and Mr. Adams was charged with Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and served with 3 Outstanding Warrants for Arrest.

Mr. Adams was placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond.
