Traffic Stop Leads to Narcotics Arrest

A Dunn resident has been arrested in Wayne County after a traffic stop revealed illegal narcotics.  Wayne County Sheriff’s office reports that 36year old Jeremy Lee Robinson of Dunn was stopped by members of the Wayne County Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team for a chapter 20 violation. 

According to the report, Robinson was traveling in Wayne County when he was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics and a firearm. Robinson was arrested and taken before the Wayne County Magistrate.  Charged with Possession of Firearm by Felon, PWISD Schedule I, PWISD Schedule VI, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Robinson was issued a $25,000 secured bond and booked into the Wayne County Detention Facility.
