The Wayne County Human Resources Association (WCHRA) presented donations to four local, non-profit organizations in December.

Through fundraising efforts, including a 50/50 raffle, WCHRA members raised money and donated $500 to each of the following:

1. Kitty Askins Hospice Center

2. Prevention and Treatment Center

3. Boys and Girls Clubs of Wayne County

4. Goldsboro-Wayne Habitat for Humanity

With the help of the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, donations were presented to these incredible organizations during a Facebook live event commemorating the occasion. The WCHRA expressed, “We are so grateful for our Chamber’s support.”

“We appreciate the work that these and all Wayne County organizations do on behalf of the community, and we wish them success in the years to come,” says Nicole Darden, WCHRA President.
