We’re just learning of an arrest last month of a Goldsboro man…
On February 25, 2023, at approximately 5:56 p.m., Goldsboro Police Department’s Housing Unit and Special Enforcement Unit responded to a call for service in the 600 block of East Holly Street regarding a suspicious person knocking on doors and windows of a residence. While enroute to the call, a traffic stop was conducted on a blue Ford F-150 pickup truck. Police believe this individual was the subject of the original call.
During searchof the Ford F-150 pickup truck, a concealed firearm, approximately 297 dosage units of suspected MDMA, approximately 42 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and approximately 155 grams of suspected marijuana was located inside the vehicle. T
The driver –Chuck Griffin Jr., was arrested on scene without incident.
Mr. Griffin was transported to the Wayne County Magistrate’s Office where he was charged with Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon (F), Carrying a Concealed Gun (F), Level One Trafficking MDMA (F), Level One Trafficking Cocaine (F), Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana (F), Maintain a Vehicle for the Sale of Controlled Substance (F), and Drug Paraphernalia (M). Griffin was held at the Wayne County Jail on a $150,000 secured bond.
